SIZING: Minimum cast letter size:As small as 1/4" ALL CAPS & 3/8" c/lc.
Count # of characters (letters + spaces) and divide by 3.5, providing typical
plaque size in square inches. E.G.: 400 characters divided by 3.5 is 114 sq.".
This plaque could be 8" x 14", allowing for design features like borders, heading, differing
font sizes etc.

Many find the distinction between Bas
Relief and Flat Relief imagery confusing. Click-to-Enlarge

Flat isn't; it's either upper level A or lower level B; no dimensions in
between. Think of bas reliefs = "rolling hills", flat reliefs = "plateaus". Click

Attaching an etched plaque or MetalPhoto for a portrait−line art or halftone−are
other options. Flat Relief portraits add $349. Consider

BAS-RELIEF
PLAQUES:
Virtually any design can be produced in bas relief. Portraits begin with a
submitted picture of the subject. A clay mold is then made. Once approved the
image is cast. The final step is attaching the casting to the base plaque.
Generally they're in the 6-9" tall range as portrait attachments. Art &
casting charge added to base Bronze plaque price: $999 up 12"; $1,099
for 14"; $1,179 for 16"; $1,299 for 18"; $1,359 for 20"...etc. In
Aluminum: Art & casting charge added to base plaque price: $899 up 12";
$999 for 14"; $1,079 for 16"; $1,199 for 18"; $1,359 for 20"...etc. You will
not find a better offer elsewhere.
PictureCast
plaquescan be a great value for nouveau bas relief plaques. Etched plaque appliqués up to 5" x 7" add $299. MetalPhotos
add $159 up to 8" x 10".
