Some Architectural Signage Distributors would rather lie...when telling the truth is even easier..........When confronted, one, Architectural Bronze's Ken Cooper, was "helpful enough" to offer: "Hey Don, it works!"............"Whatever."...............

"Liar Liar, PANTS on FIRE " PAGE IMAGE ADJUNCT

or "A Liar's Guide to Plaques & Letters Online 'Sites": Pinocchio Image Gallery

As I was working on the FTC Complaints Page, I searched for images of one of the most renown liars of all time: Pinocchio. ala Seinfeld: "...but that doesn't mean he's a bad person."

When I found more than I could use, they've been posted here (along with some Lagniappe: "a little something extra".) Some fairly fascinating images of the little wooden boy have been created over the several decades, depictions in both whimsical as well as darker, even pathetic & macabre tones. When thought about, many lies can be perceived in the same ways...depending on the purposes of the liars themselves as well as the perceptions of their beholders. Historically, "cartoon characters", metaphors, analogies, anthropomorphisms, allegories and the like−such as "Gulliver's Travels", "Aesop's Fables" and "Animal Farm"−were vehicles for addressing larger truths in a manner more easily accepted than direct citation.
