Our "La Villa Maria" client specified these 4" Times Roman dark bronze anodized cast aluminum letters with neither pattern nor protective clear coat. They later wrote:

"They were painted with a paint that contains iron and then a chemical brushed over them to make them rust. Some of the spacing is not perfect, but in this case, it was more important to have it look like it might have been there for many years as opposed to being brand new."
