On 09/11/01, the U.S. became more united than in recent memory by the coordinated attacks on American sovereignty, belief systems & way of life. It was a misled assault on all those committed to the precepts of freedom of choice, equity of beliefs & justice for all. While there were precursory attacks, 9/11 is the seminal event of this generation. Obviously the fight continues.
