Their primary purpose is to transcend the cost
& schedule limitations of traditional cast bas
relief plaques.

PictureCast plaques feature raised or recessed lettering, satin-finished top
surfaces, and are suitable
for interior & exterior use. They
are ideal if a sculptured image is desired. Braille available. Traditionally-cast
plaques are a better approach if your plaque is "text-only" and/or involves
large amounts of text.
PICTURECAST vs. BAS RELIEF COMPARISONS:

PLAQUE THICKNESS: The same as cast−3/8" for smaller plaques, 1/2" for medium
sized, 3/4" for large plaques. |

IMAGE THICKNESS:
Images on bas relief cast plaques are about 3/8" thick. PictureCast plaque images are
about 1/16" thick, depending on the provided
photographs and their contrast. |

IMAGE QUALITY:
Images on bas relief cast plaques are subject to artistic interpretation.
PictureCast plaque images are
accurate reflections of the provided
photographs. |

SCHEDULE:
PictureCast plaques require about a month to ship
after production proof approval. With cast metal plaques using true bas reliefs,
the entire process takes 6-8 weeks to ship. |

The largest size
cast plaque in one piece is 120"
x 120". For
PictureCast, maximum size in one piece is
72" x 36". |
