just below are standard National Historic Register Plaque designs ready to cast. Roadside markers are always custom. Note: The sizes & designs of the
eight are "cast in bronze", allowing no customization, but the colors, text, textures and verbiage
can be customized.

Most distributors offer the common NHR
plaques above. That doesn't mean you have to settle for "same 'ole". The plaque
at right was inspired by the Empire, but customer desired distinctive. The inner
border & divider bars concept were his. He was ambivalent about the two etched
seals on his original drawing...
...but P&L encouraged. The type treatment--featuring Belwe serif & two
weights of Century Gothic sans serif to differentiate the "voices"--was
P&L's idea. SPECS: Cast Bronze. Dark Oxide Leatherette Background. Size: 14"
x 15.5" x 3/8". Mounting: Masonry Expansion Bolts with Rosettes.

ROADSIDE MARKERS:
Roadside
markers are free-standing bronze or aluminum plaques, single or
double sided, cast with a cap that fits over the top of a standard size pole or
pipe. They can be rectangular, square or have a contoured top. Minimum
plaque width: 12". There are no standard sizes.
Pricing is based on total square inches.
Extensions (arches, etc.) need to be factored as if they were part of a
larger, squared off size.
